Clearwater Power Company - Helping Hand Program This Co-op created the Helping Hand Program, which was created to assist low income and fixed income households, and those with unexpected emergencies, pay for heating bills.
Avista Utilities Avista Utilities customers an receive free or heavily discounted weatherization services (insulation and air sealing) or heating system repairs and improvements. They also offer Project Share, which provide grants to those in need without regard to the customers heating source.
Idaho Power Idaho Power gives financial assistance to both Idaho and Oregon Community Action Partnership (CAP) agencies, which then use these funds to help cover the cost for weatherization expenses of electrically heated homes of qualified customers. Rocky Mountain Power - Lend a Hand Rocky Mountain Power partners with numerous local nonprofit agencies to help families and customers in need pay their electric and heating bills. Income qualified customers can receive free weatherization services, which may include refrigerator replacements, insulation, compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL) and also may include measures that improve water heating efficiency.
