This assistance program, known as HELP, gives New Mexico residents a variety of assistance with bills. It can provide help with rent, grocery bills, and of course energy and heating bills. You can apply for the program just once per year.
Public Service Company of New Mexico
The Good Neighbor Fund assists low-income families and individuals with paying for electricity, gas, heating, wood and propane bills during the winter months of November to May.
Silver Horizons
Is a program for Bernalillo County people and it provides assistance for heating and water bills if the family has received a disconnection notice.
St. Vincent De Paul
This is an aid organization that assists with paying electricity, gas, water, and heating bills.
Storehouse West
Assistance for heating bills is from this Rio Rancho agency and it will provide grants until the government funds are depleted
