Additional Help in Wisconsin
Any Wisconsin residents that may be having trouble paying their utility or heating bills can still get help through the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP). This program provides grants and dollars to moderate- and lower income Wisconsin families to help them pay for winter heating and power bills.
Assistance from this program is still available through May 15.
Any grants and aid provided from WHEAP assistance will be based on household size, home energy costs, and family income level. The program provides help and funds to over 150,000 households in Wisconsin every year.
Also, Energy Services, which is part of the Keep Wisconsin Warm Fund, helps families pay their heating bills over the cold winter months.
